with Ido Aharoni Aronoff | Global Ambassador for Maccabi World Union
Join us for an inspiring talk moderated by MWU Global Ambassador Ido Aharoni Aronoff featuring two exceptional individuals who will be discussing miraculous events in sports.
Ira Berkow is a globally acclaimed author, columnist and sportswriter. He shared the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting, which was awarded to the staff of The New York Times for their series “How Race Is Lived in America.” A gifted storyteller Berkow will share with us some of his most inspirational professional experiences.
Dan Mariaschin has spent nearly all of his professional life working on behalf of the Jewish people most notably as the longtime CEO of B’nai B’rith International. Dan will share his own incredible family connection to the history of the NBA and will tie it to Deni Avdija’s journey.
Participants will be given time to ask questions about the session as well as other issues of concern to the Jewish community.
