This April, with no exception, Budapest held their annual March of living. The Maccabi VAC played a very special part this year. 

The Hungarian Maccabiah delegation began their walk at the Dohany street synagogue, were we remembered all the fallen Hungarian Jewish Athletes whose lives were taken during the war. Zsuzsa Toronyi, the Hungarian Jewish archive director gave a speech about the athletes of the VAC, and Gabor Szilagyi, the cantor at the Dohany synagogue performed El Male Rachamim. 

After the remembrance, the Maccabiah delegation walked over to the Margaret bridge to join the others in the walk of life. 

The Maccabi VAC sent 6 Maccabiah delegates to represent the team at the March of living at Auschwitz.
