The new Maccabi VAC waterpolo team has newly formed this April, on the day of the Hungarian Holocaust Remembrance.
It was a special day for the Maccabi VAC, as waterpolo has tremendous history in not only Hungarian heritage, but Jewish as well; the sport was also very popular among Jews before the war. Our trainings will include players from age 16 to 40. Our goal is to build a strong team, as well as take part in the Budapest Championships. Our team plans to go on to international competitions, as well as expand the team further.
