The Kibic hosted a conference, along with a film screening and Klezmer concert festival in the second-largest Jewish city in Hungary, Debrecen. It was important to liven the community and to share with the non-Jewish community our Jewish culture through the programs of the Kibbutz Union.
One of the prominent groups was at the Maccabi VAC. Children could participate in playful competitions at the Maccabi table, while the adults spoke with the Maccabi VAC about the history of the Maccabiah.
We hope that our event was successful in spreading awareness and knowledge about our community, and that you’ll join us at our next event as well.
