In April 2011, the football department of the Maccabi Fencing and Athletics Club, as well as the Scheiber school, participated in the Zugló Cup district school championships. There were 14 teams in the tournament, in our group the team played 3 matches. There was one win and two defeats on the scales, so the team didn’t get any further. The winners were mostly players from sports oriented schools.
During the sports competition, the athletes received uniforms from the Maccabi VAC. The competition was also attended by several students from the Scheiber School, who will be taking part in several football tournaments with the Maccabi VAC – Scheiber team over the summer.
The management of Maccabi VAC Hungary considers the 2010-2011 school year to be of paramount importance, as it places great emphasis on the promotion of sports in schools, including the Scheiber school.
