This year the Maccabi VAC took part in the Bankito festival, organised by Marom on August 6th. We were counting on about 1500 attendees, but unfortunately due to the cold rainy weather many were unable to come, and we had to reorganise many programs as well.
With our original plan, we would have had an all day sporting event,with street ball, soccer, and a race around the lake, but the storm interrupted these events. Nevertheless, about 10-15 children took part in a Krav Maga and self defense training, with the help of 10 volunteers.
We’d love to attend the festival in the years to come, hopefully with a sunnier and warmer outcome!
